Paper Model - Spitfire Mk.II Iron Maiden [1/48]

Lo Squadrone del Capaso vede oggi aggiungersi un nuovo elemento: uno Supermarine Spitfire Mk.II versione Iron Maiden. Sono infatti riuscito a realizzare un modello di questo famoso caccia della Seconda Guerra Mondiale in una versione tributo ad uno dei miei gruppi musicali preferiti che tempo fa aveva dedicato un brano agli assi volanti. Il modello è in scala 1:48 e risulta lungo circa 23 cm, non è molto particolareggiato, ma la costruzione non è stata delle più facili soprattutto per il fatto che la fusoliera è costituita da un unico pezzo decisamente difficile da modellare. E' pilotato da Eddie, la moscotte degli IM, come si può vedere dal fregio a fianco della carlinga ed il numero di serie del velivolo è IM666: davvero bestiale!
